When it comes to many of the Fall season trends, it can sometimes get over #hashtagged or even overused with pumpkin spiced everything! This Fall, my goal is to slowly integrate seasonally themed recipes into the kitchen; but, not overuse the ’typical’ trends of flavor! What are your favorite fall trends that have become super popular each year? 🍁
What You Need:
• 2 cups rolled oats
• 1/2 cup walnuts
• 1/4 cup agave
•1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
• 2 cups @fairlife dairy free milk
• 1/2 cup applesauce
• 1 large egg
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Cooking:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, half of the walnuts, baking powder & cinnamon.
3. Mix the dairy-free milk, agave, egg, vanilla and applesauce. Stir well to combine.
4. Carefully pour oatmeal mixture into the baking dish.
Scatter the remaining walnuts across the top.
5. Bake for 35 minutes, until the top is nicely golden. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
