Southern Biscuits, the Healthy Way!

I cannot wait to share this amazingly tasty Homemade Vegan Biscuit recipe, and there’s only 5 Ingredients!

Some background about me: I went to college in Nashville, TN, so I saw (and tasted) the best and most buttery biscuits the south had to offer. From this expierence, I learned that the very best biscuits should:

  1. Be made with love ♥️

  2. Be simply made with simple ingredients

You’ll love these biscuits, I can almost 100% guarantee! They're buttery, flaky and so simple to make - there’s no excuse to jump to use the biscuits in a tin can again!

What You Need:

  • 2 cups of flour

  • 3/4 cups dairy-free milk

  • 1/2 cup of melted vegan butter

  • 1 tbsp. agave

  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Cooking:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees & line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixer, mix the melted butter, dairy-free milk, agave, & baking powder. Then, mix in flour 1/4 cup at a time until mixture is fully combined. Don’t over-mix!

  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop out the dough and roll into ball in your hand. Make sure to evenly space each dough with enough space apart during baking.

  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the tops are fully golden and bottom of the biscuits have a good golden brown color!

  5. Add butter or jelly (my fav is @smuckersbrand natural jam) & enjoy!
