Vegan Pita Pizzas!

Eating dairy-free, the struggle to find yummy & truly cheesy pizza is a real! I tackled this task by making my own out of leftover pita bread, tomato sauce & veggies🌶🍅 Try it out & see the different types of pita pizzas you can make!

 

What You Need: (per pizza)

  • Pita Bread

  • 3 tbsp tomato sauce

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 1/4 cup dairy-free shredded cheese

  • 4 slices of Roma tomato

  • 1 baby Bella mushroom (sliced)

  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar glaze (to drizzle)


Cooking:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375. Prepare a cookie sheet by placing a sheet of tinfoil on top.

  2. Take one slice of pita bread and drizzle olive oil on top - using a spoon to fully distribute. Then, add the tomato sauce on top, again using the spoon to distribute the sauce.

  3. Add the cheese sprinkled on top, lightly pressing down. Add the tomatoes & mushrooms. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar on top.

  4. Place pita pizzas into oven and cook for 20 minutes, checking frequently. Some pitas May cook faster then others, so it’s important to keep an eye on it!
